Atlus To Publish Successfully Crowdfunded Tex Murphy

The game is a wonderful time capsule, coming back to FMV cutscenes, and boasting the same content for all, family friendly, no DRM and no DLC. Tex Murphy creators Chris Jones and Aaron Conners recently Printing Services Rosenberg rounded up a highly successful Kickstarter for the game, making $ 598,104, safely above the $ 450,000 goal. As unlikely as an Atlus partnership seemed, it turned out that quite a few of the games backers were actually from Atlus. With this new partnership, Tesla Effect will benefit from working with one of the industrys biggest distributors, increased press coverage, and help in development. They are now working to have the game ready for release by the first quarter of 2014, to Steam and other personal computer platforms.

NEXON to publish Splash Damage’s new FPS, Extraction

So far we know that Extraction is a fast-paced FPS with an emphasis on team-oriented tactical gameplay. It takes place in London following a radiological attack. Mercenaries have come together to piece together the clues that could explain the attack. This is a free-to-play PC title, of course. Extraction will make its debut at PAX this week.

Assessors publish for 4 townships

The second and final installment of 2012s property-tax bills payable this year is due Thursday. Last year, the county fielded almost 10,000 assessment appeals for this years tax bills. Frustrated property owners have broken consecutive records as property-tax bills have stayed the same or increased despite the fact that home values have plummeted. By comparison, a decade ago, the county received only 677 appeals. The tax cap, which was meant to help taxpayers by keeping taxing bodies to an inflationary rate of increase, hurts taxpayers when property values go down.
